Strengthening Our Community: CAS Fundraising Campaign
18 May 2024 • 2 mins read
The Civilians Association (Singapore) is excited to announce a comprehensive fundraising campaign aimed at supporting a variety of community initiatives. Running from May 18, 2024, to November 17, 2024, this campaign seeks to foster a more united, supportive, and caring society through targeted projects:
Enhancing Family Unity
We will develop activities that promote family bonding, helping families grow closer and stronger together. These activities are designed to create meaningful experiences and foster lasting relationships among family members.
Supporting Single-Parent Families
Our campaign will provide essential support to single-parent families, empowering them to thrive despite challenges. Through counseling, financial assistance, and community programs, we aim to create a supportive environment for these families.
Youth Development & Sports
We aim to inculcate values and promote the holistic development of our youth through sports and educational activities (Eg: Breaking Barriers). By offering various programs and workshops, we hope to nurture young talents and instil a sense of responsibility and teamwork.
Eldercare & Engagement
Facilitating befriender care and engagement services, we strive to enhance the lives of the elderly, ensuring they remain active and connected. Our initiatives include social activities, health check-ups, and companionship programs to support their well-being.
Silent Heroes Movement
We are committed to promoting a caring society by recognizing and supporting the social good deeds of exceptional members of society. This includes honouring the kind acts of students from our Singapore schools, encouraging them to continue their positive contributions to the community and inculcating a continuity to the volunteerism through the various initiatives.
