CAS Causes – Care for Senior Citizens

As an aging society, Singapore’s elderly citizens may no longer be worrying about raising families and career advancement, but they may face difficult battles of their own.
There is more to their plight than what meets the eye as old age may lead to challenges of isolation, loneliness and depression. CAS aspires to develop a Seniors Befriender Centre to support and assist Senior citizens.
The Centre would be a heavenly place for the elderly individuals to socialize and keep themselves occupied. In addition, with the advancement of technology that connects people around the world, CAS aims to build the digital skills in the elderly by conducting basic IT training sessions for them.
